We got invited to Shawn and Janet's End of Summer Party like we did last year. The weather was just about identical - clear blue skies (after a rainy dreary morning) and that pre-autumn chill at dusk. And about a billion kiddos running amok. Sam took a few minutes to warm up to the scene, but once he made his way up the ladder and down the slide, he was at it all day with the other kids. A really nice time. Good eats, good drinks (ah, a BEER! - or two.) and good company. Got to see my friends Bill and Kerry from college. Unfortunately, Ron had to work. A nice day!
